bet365ÌåÓýÔÚÏßµ¼º½ (YSU), co-constructed by Hebei Provincial Government, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and National Defense Science and Industry Bureau, is participating in the country¡¯s construction plan of national first-class university and world-class disciplines with strong support from the Hebei Provincial Government. YSU is a member of the Cooperation Consortium of Beijing High Technology Universities. Encompassing 266.67 hectare of grounds with a total floor area of 1.06 million square meters, YSU now is attended by 38,000 students receiving regular higher education.

1998--Its administration was transferred from Ministry of Machinery Industry to Hebei Provincial Government (HPG). YSU was co-administrated by the central and local government, in which the latter plays the principal role.
2016--As one of the two universities selected by the Ministry of Education, YSU¡¯s engineering majors received the inspection from the international experts of Washington Accord, which supported China¡¯s membership in Washington Accord International Engineering Education Organization.
l Faculty
YSU has a faculty of 3200, 2200 of whom are full-time teachers including 466 professors (including 219 doctoral advisors) and 634 associate professors. Among them there is one Academician of China Academy of Sciences, two distinguished professors from the Recruitment Program of Global Experts (Thousand Talents Plan), one professor from the Recruitment Program for Young Professionals, seven distinguished professors from the Changjiang Scholars Program, and nine winners of the China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists.

YSU offers 11 postdoctoral research stations, 11 first-level disciplines authorized to offer doctoral degrees, 27 first-level disciplines authorized to offer master degrees, 10 disciplines authorized to offer professional master degrees, 17 disciplines authorized to offer master degrees of engineering, and 64 undergraduate programs, covering 9 disciplines including Engineering, Liberal Art, Science, Economics, Management, Law, Fine Arts, Philosophy and Education. YSU has 5 national key disciplines, 5 national defense key disciplines and 16 provincial key disciplines. Engineering and Materials Science of YSU rank ESI top 1%.

YSU has built the State Key Laboratory of Metastable Materials Science and Technology, the National Engineering Research Center for Equipment and Technology of C.S.R., the National & Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Advanced Manufacture Forming Technology and Equipment, a national-level "International Science and Technology Cooperation Base", a national institute of technology transfer demonstration, 3 collaborative innovation centers, and 38 provincial and ministerial-level key laboratories, engineering research centers and research bases. YSU National High-tech Park and YSU Press are attached to YSU.
YSU has reached internationally leading-edge level in research fields of heavy machinery complete equipment, metastable materials science and technology, theory and technology of parallel robotics, fluid drive and electro-hydraulic servo control technology, theory and technology of industrial automatic control, precision plastic molding technology, forging technology and heat treatment techniques for large forgings, and mechanical structure and materials science under extreme conditions.
YSU has won 17 national science and technology awards consecutively since 2000, including 2 First Prizes and 9 Second Prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 3 Second Prizes of National Technology Invention Award, and 3 Second Prizes of National Natural Sciences Award. YSU has undertaken more than 800 national research projects, including those funded by 973 Program, 863 Program as well as the National Natural Sciences Foundation and the National Social Sciences Foundation. In 2013 and 2014, two scientific research achievements were selected ¡°China Top 10 Science Progress¡± and ¡°Top 10 Science & Technology Progress of Chinese Universities¡±.
l International Exchange
YSU actively fosters international academic exchanges and cooperation, and has built friendly cooperative ties with over 80 high-level universities and institutes of more than 20 countries including England, America, Canada, Germany, Russia, France, South Korea and Japan, carrying out international exchanges and cooperation in fields of student and teacher exchange, scientific research cooperation, cooperation in running school and cooperatively held conferences.
With serving China¡¯s equipment manufacturing industry, strategic emerging industries, science and technology industry of national defense, and regional economic and social development as the mission, over 40,000 high-spirited and vigorous faculty and students of YSU preserve in emancipating the mind, forging ahead with determination, developing YSU scientifically, and working tirelessly to develop YSU into a national first-class university with distinct school-running characteristics including Industry-University-Research Collaboration and Civil-Military Integration, and with world-class disciplines including mechanical and materials engineering.
