[News from News Center] On December 25^th, Chinese Alumni Network unveiled “2018 Chinese University Ranking List” in “2018 Chinese University Evaluation Report”. YSU ranks No. 84, 3 positions higher than last year. YSU is the only university in Hebei Province that entered the top 100. The research team of Chinese Alumni Network is one of teams who work on University Evaluation in China for a long time. It has published Chinese University Ranking List for 16 years since 2003. Comparing with the past years, the evaluation index has been optimized, adding 180 indicators and deleting 30 indicators this year. Meanwhile, the weight of indicators such as scientific research awards at international, national and provincial levels, outstanding teachers and teaching achievements was added. Nearly 150 “International Science Prizes” such as Nobel Prize, Breakthrough Prizes, Future Science Prize, Bernd Theodor Matthias Prize, Warner Koiter Prize and Meisel-Laponce Prize are incorporated in the Chinese Alumni’s 2018 Chinese University Evaluation Index System.
